Scholarship Application Instructions
The Florida Society of Accountants is pleased to accept your application for consideration for a scholarship from the FSA Karen Black Scholarship Fund.
As an applicant you must first meet the following criteria:
- A Florida student and resident
- Taking Accounting Classes in a two (2) year school, orbe an Accounting Major in a four (4) year school
- Maintain a “B” average in major
- You may be a part-time student
- You must have need
Specific line instructions:
Student name should list your name as it appears in your college records including middle initials.
Student home address should list the address where mail will always be received by you.
Telephone and email is the information where you can readily be reached.
College of Enrollment is the institution you will be attending during this term. This may be a traditional college, university, or vocational school.
Address is the mailing address of the college of enrollment.
Current Status is your current level in school. Are you full or part-time.
GPA is your current grade point average. Please indicate what criteria your school uses, ie 4 points = A, etc.
Justification for scholarship is the last section that asks what your career goals are, what are other interests in your life and how this scholarship will help you meet your educational goals and needs. (Additional sheets may be added if necessary)
