The FSA sponsored NSA District IV meeting held this past weekend had 16 attendees. The Leadership and Membership development seminar resulted in some great ideas being advanced for our members. The paperless office and virtual bookkeeping technology presentation let members see what is currently available and where the profession is headed. The comments were positive and we look forward to a larger member turnout next year.

Everyone please consider attending the Convention in beautiful Naples as we celebrate another year as the Society for the small accountant/tax professional. The camaraderie and networking during the convention is invaluable to your practice. We have scheduled twelve hours of continuing professional education. The speakers are Stephen Valentine from PTI, Lance Wallach, past NSA speaker of the year, and Mario Nowogrodzki, CPA. The Convention is June 25th-28th at the Inn on Fifth in downtown Naples, FL. This will be my last official letter as President for FSA. The year has flown by and I have felt privileged and honored to serve the membership. My sincere gratitude and thanks goes to Wendy, Charlotte, Barbara, Linda, and Larry on the executive committee. The committee chairs were also instrumental in my success with their input. I want to also thank the chapter directors and the board for their support. A special Thank You to our Administrative Agent Joy. Without her support and guidance I would have been lost.
